🖥️ Softwares I Use

After many requests, here are the programs and hardware I use for everything. I'm only putting here programs I consider tried and true and have used for a while.

Software I use

Priority

I’m about getting things done quickly and finish everything I start ASAP.

Basic stuff

Operating System

• I use Windows 11 Professional for my everyday work as well as to create the covers.

Text editing, programming

• For these kind of tasks I use VSCode, simply works for me, it can handle everything I need.

Browser

• To browse the web I use the Brave browser, also I got LibreWolf Installed. I use the following extensions/add-ons:
  • uBlock Origin
  • ColorZilla
  • WhatFont
  • Sample

Media Production stuff

• Audio & Launchpad production

  • Ableton Live 12 Lite, dedicated program to create Launchpad covers, it provides the audio feedback. The Lite version is limited to 8 tracks, but for me ususally it takes no more than 4 tracks to create te covers. It comes with Novation gears so it’s free.
  • To enhance the audio quality and record voiceovers in my videos Adobe Audition works for me the best.
  • Apollo Studio provides the lights for my covers, it’s a free software made by mat1jaczyyy, works well with Live Lite as it doesn’t requires M4L to use the top lights or to create smooth fades.

• Video production & Graphics

  • To edit videos I used to use Sony Vegas Pro 13 but now I moved to Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects to create transitions, text effects, color grade, etc.
  • I use Adobe Photoshop to make my thumbnails for my covers and to create my channel art.
